AIPP announces Danny Pato as Grand Trophy Winner 2024–2025

New Zealand–based hairdresser Danny Pato has been named the winner of the coveted AIPP Grand Trophy 2024–2025, the highest distinction awarded by the Association Internationale Presse Professionnelle Coiffure (AIPP).

Danny Pato’s collection Nomads has been selected as the most iconic AIPP entry of the year, rising above an exceptional group of international finalists.

As every year, the seven winners of the AIPP Awards 2024–2025 [Andrew Smith, Danny Pato, Stefano Bugada, Bernat Sayol, Carlos Valiente, Matteo de Vita and Amparo Fernández] earned the opportunity to take part in the ultimate challenge: to conquer the AIPP Grand Trophy. These category winners were announced last October in Madrid, marking the beginning of the final and most prestigious stage of the competition.

This year, AIPP member magazines were invited to vote for the most iconic AIPP entry of the year, the collection that best represents creativity, vision and global impact in contemporary hairdressing—and therefore deserves to be awarded the AIPP Grand Trophy 2024–2025. Following this international vote, Nomads by Danny Pato emerged as the absolute winner.

With this achievement, Danny Pato joins the AIPP Grand Trophy Hall of Fame, an exclusive group of professionals whose work has defined their generation and left a lasting imprint on the international hairdressing scene:
